The Old Guinea is an independent, unique pub and restaurant with a history dating back to 1826. It’s set in idyllic Hertfordshire countryside in the parish of Ridge which has been in existence since the 13th century. The village is surrounded by farmland, footpaths and lovely views in all seasons. The Old Guinea is modern, comfortable in design and has a spacious garden and car park. Home-made pizzas, pasta, fresh salads and desserts, complemented with a selection of good wines, beer and real ales are served from 12 noon onwards. Families are very welcome and a children’s menu is available. We are dog-friendly in the bar area and garden.
